Belt, Boots, and BDU Pants

The three items listed here, with photos to the left are required for BOTH uniforms in Post 565.

Personally you would need to purchase on your own:

A) Combat Style Boots (Black in Color) Generally $25 and up

B) Basket weave Style Belt (Black in Color) Generally $15 and up

C) BDU Pants (Black in Color) Generally $35 and up

All the above mentioned items can generally be obtained from uniform/army surplus stores such as; Joe's Army Navy, Excellent Police Equipment, Douglas the Tailor, or www.galls.com. If you cannot find or afford any of these items, PLEASE see any adult staff member to discuss other options.

Class A Uniform

Class A Uniform

The Class A uniform is specifically for the post's Command Officers.

Included in the Class A uniform are the standard black uniform pants and shirt, black boots or shoes, basket weave belt, whistle/whistle chain, badge, name plate, and patches.

This new style uniform was put into use for the safety of the explorers. Before the addition of the "black" uniforms, the post used the traditional Sheriff "browns", which were almost identical to Sheriff Deputies' Uniforms.

The Class A Uniform shirt has "Explorer" embroidered on the right breast. The word "Explorer" in reflective lettering on both arm sleeves, and the words "Sheriff Explorer" in reflective lettering on the back.

Class B Uniform

Class B Uniform

The Class B uniform is for every member of the post.

Included in the Class B uniform are the standard black BDU pants and shirt, black boots, and basket weave belt. Please note that the boots, belt, and BDU pants are the responsibility of the explorer to purchase.

The Class B Uniform shirt has on the front a "Sheriff's Star" imprinted on the left breast. The words "Macomb County SHERIFF Explorer" imprinted on the back.
